Performance Checker Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

The Performance Checker browser extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing information.

2. How the Extension Works

• All performance analysis is performed entirely in your browser using browser Performance APIs.
• The extension makes no external network requests. No data is sent to any server.
• No personal data, cookies, or browsing history is collected or stored.
• No tracking of any kind.
• Results are displayed in the extension popup and discarded when you close it.

3. Permissions Explained

• activeTab: Required to read the current page URL when you click the extension icon.
• scripting: Required to inject the performance analysis script and display results on the page.

4. External Links

When you click "Full Report", the extension opens audit.owshsystems.com/performance with your current page URL as a query parameter. This is the only external communication the extension performs, and it requires you to click the button.

5. Data Storage

This extension does not store any data locally or remotely. Each analysis is performed fresh when you click the extension icon.
